The band
Founded in 2018 around Chad Calhoun’s songwriting, Buffalo Star follows personal stories down the back roads between indie rock, alt-country, and Americana.
Buffalo Star’s full electric lineup is Chad Calhoun on guitar and lead vocal, Chris Bennett on guitar, Cole Lysons on bass, and Harlan Mark Vale on drums. Together they deliver the band’s widest dynamics and biggest live presentation.
For rooms that call for a smaller footprint, Chad, Cole, and Mark perform as an electric or acoustic trio. Buffalo Star is also available as a duo pairing Chad with Chris, Cole, or Mark, and as Chad solo. Original music and deep covers of indie and Americana.
